2010 - Deva, Romania + Dmitrovka & Kiliya, Ukraine

 Our medical mission team traveled to Ukraine and Romania this year, where we had the privilege of serving local communities in need. Dr. James Ogden also recruited Valentin Ardeleanu (another optometrist), to help provide eye care and some general medical support to approximately 400 patients. The patients received much-needed eye exams and glasses —services that are often difficult to access in these regions. It was a humbling and impactful experience, filled with meaningful connections and a shared commitment to compassionate care.
